As a Japanese-Speaking Caregiver (Kaigo) & Teacher, you will be responsible for providing daily care to our clients, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and companionship. You will also have the opportunity to teach basic Japanese language skills to our clients, helping them to connect with their heritage and improve their quality of life.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Provide personalized care to clients, assisting with activities of daily living, medication management, and companionship.
• Teach basic Japanese language skills to clients, helping them to connect with their heritage and improve their quality of life.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive nutritious and culturally appropriate meals.
• Monitor clients' health and well-being, documenting any changes or concerns.
• Participate in cultural activities and events, helping clients to engage with their community and maintain a sense of purpose.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in caregiving.
• Promote a safe and respectful work environment for both clients and staff.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Fluent in Japanese language, with the ability to teach basic language skills to clients.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving, preferably in a Japanese cultural context.
• Valid certification in caregiving or related field, such as the Certified Caregiver (CC) or Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Understanding of cultural sensitivity and the ability to provide care that respects clients' cultural and religious beliefs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
